Park Aviation Bolsters Leadership,Welcomes Canadian Aviation Industry Luminary Robert McIvor to the Team

Vancouver, BC – December 12^th, 2005 – Park Insurance, a Vancouver-based insurance broker serving thousands of aviation insurance clients across Canada, today announced the appointment of Robert G. (Bob) McIvor, a Certified Aviation Insurance Professional and avid pilot, to the position of Senior Account Manager with Park Aviation Services Ltd., responsible for large commercial accounts. McIvor will be based in Park’s new Ontario field office. McIvor’s appointment to Park’s Commercial Aviation division marks yet another milestone for Canada’s fastest-growing aviation insurance provider.

McIvor brings a wealth of experience to the Park Aviation team. He has over 30 years of aviation insurance experience, including experience with Sedgwicks and AON Reed Stenhouse. In 1975, he founded McIvor Aviation Insurance Brokers, Ltd., and went on to found the aviation division within Canadian-owned PROLINK Insurance Group, ranked 7^th largest insurance broker in Canada. He also held a Vice President position with ICC Air Cargo. McIvor has consulted for a number of Canadian aviation insurance firms and is a recognized expert in the field of aviation insurance.

McIvor also has a long record of service to the aviation community in Canada, including his role as past Captain of Canadian Owners & Pilots Flight 28; member of COPA National (1976); member of Canadian Warplane Heritage, including Lancaster Support Club (1981); member of the Canadian Seaplane Association (CSPA) since 1992; and founding Director, Ontario Emergency Helicopter Committee (Code Blue). McIvor is a licensed private pilot and a prior owner of a BE23. McIvor was also a member of the Royal Canadian Navy, specializing in meteorology, with experience in both rotary wing and fixed wing. Bob has a love for flying and continues to be involved in many aspects of the aviation community.
