The Team

	Dave Fitzpatrick, CAIB President dave@parkaviation.ca With over 20 years of Aviation insurance expertise Dave Fitzpatrick is part of The Fitzpatrick family who have owned and operated Park Insurance since 1965. In 1996 — after buying his first aircraft — Dave recognized that aviation insurance was different from other types of insurance and that reliable information and advice was not easy to come by. Dave decided to combine his passion for flight with his insurance expertise and in 1995 started the Aviation Insurance division of Park Insurance. Since then Dave has established a high profile among both commercial and private aircraft owners; with his regular articles, columns, and as guest speaker at many leading aviation industry events, Dave is considered one of Canada’s leading authorities on commercial and private aviation insurance. In January 2006, Dave launched Park Aviation – one of Canada’s most trusted and highly regarded Commercial and Private Aviation Insurance providers led by one of Canada’s leading aviation insurance experts.

Robert McIvor, CAIP Senior Account Manager – Ontario Office rmcivor@parkaviation.ca With over 30 years of aviation insurance expertise, including experience with Sedgwicks and AON Reed Stenhouse Bob is responsible for Park Aviation’s large commercial accounts. In 1975, he founded McIvor Aviation Insurance Brokers, Ltd., and went on to found the aviation division within Canadian-owned PROLINK Insurance Group. Bob also held a Vice President position with ICC Air Cargo. Based in Park Aviation’s Toronto area office Bob is a licensed private pilot and a prior owner of a BE23. Bob has an extensive record of service to the aviation community in Canada, including his role as past Captain of Canadian Owners & Pilots Flight 28; member of COPA National (1976); member of Canadian Warplane Heritage, including Lancaster Support Club (1981); member of the Canadian Seaplane Association (CSPA) since 1992; and founding Director, Ontario Emergency Helicopter Committee (Code Blue). Bob was also a member of the Royal Canadian Navy.

Jamie Malone, CAIB Portfolio Manager jamiem@parkaviation.ca Jamie began his career in the insurance industry in 1991, providing assistance with auto, home, and various other insurance needs. He now brings this experience to the aviation insurance field and looks forward to assisting you with your aviation insurance.

Darlene Mewett Aviation Administrative Assistant darlenem@parkaviation.ca Darlene began her career in 1977 in the retail sector, taking some time off a few years ago to focus on family needs before returning to the work force. She now brings her many years of customer service experience to the aviation insurance industry and looks forward to providing assistance with your aviation insurance needs.

Monica Kumar Licensed Insurance Broker monikak@parkaviation.ca Park Aviation Insurance welcomes Monica to the Team.

Phyllis Yeung Accountant phyllisy@parkaviation.ca Phyllis began her career in 1970 in Hong Kong in the education field before moving onto other pursuits in Canada, including volunteer community service. She began her accounting career in 1989 and now brings this experience to the aviation insurance industry. Phyllis is responsible for the financial side of Park Aviation.

Belinda Jacobs Administrative Assistant belindaj@parkaviation.ca Belinda began her career in 2003 in the legal sector before taking some time off to focus on family needs. She now brings her administrative experience to the aviation insurance industry and looks forward to providing assistance for your aviation insurance needs.
